EBI is a Chinese bearing manufacturer working the automotive line specifically, from wheel bearings and hub units through to clutch release and air-conditioning compressor bearings. It builds to IATF 16949, the quality standard the vehicle industry runs on.
EBI has built bearings from Ningbo since 2003, with further operations in Shanghai and Thailand, and has stayed narrow: wheel bearings and kits, hub units through three generations including ABS, clutch release bearings, compressor and tension pulley bearings. It holds IATF 16949 along with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and says a number of its models are supplied to automakers on an original-equipment basis. It ships to North America, Europe, Russia, South America, South Korea and the Middle East.
For now, EBI reaches Egypt through us and no one else. That is not an agency and we do not claim one: it means the sourcing work was done here, and a workshop fitting an EBI bearing in this market got it from our shelves. Bearings are unforgiving parts, which is the reason we went looking for a maker that does nothing else.
